One day, a guest left a review: “The staff looked exhausted — faces like they were at a funeral.” Reading it, the whole Miên Man team felt heavy. Not because of the criticism, but because we had failed to make someone feel welcome. Most of our staff are Gen Z. Most of our guests are thoughtful, refined young people — which is exactly why we value that connection and feel the loss when we miss it. Even with thorough training, our team is still learning to balance speed, sincerity, and warmth every single day. We’ve kept the table-service model because we want guests served by real people — not machines, not self-checkout. Choosing to keep that human touch means sometimes we can’t hide the tired. If that guest ever returns, we hope Miên Man will make her feel at ease. We’re still learning how to do hospitality with heart, not just process. Come try our milk tea collection — brewed from Vietnamese tea leaves, fresh milk, and the creative spirit of youth.
